My poor Lucas, 1st he wakes up extra early from a bad dream. Poor guy was even shaking, I have never seen him like that. So we snuggled in bed till it was time to get up and get Damon ready for school.
Once we finally got out of the house and got Damon all the way to school I look back and my Lukie was fast asleep. I knew right then that he was most likely getting sick, cause what 5 year old falls asleep in the car at 8 in the morning, not mine!
We pulled into the driveway and Lucas woke up and told me he wasn't feeling good, so I lifted him out of the car to carry him into the house. When my babies don't feel good they love to lay in my bed and watch TV, so I asked Lucas if that is what he would like to do and he said yes. I get all the way to my side of my bed and he coughs and then vomits all over me (zero warning!) I try to squeeze him against me so that none of it gets on my nice comforter (success!!). Sweet little boy didn't want it to get all over either so he was holding his arms against him so that it would all stay on him. Bless his little heart.....yeah OK now is when the love story comes to a halt.....I HATE THROW UP!! I throw up more from throwing up cause I cant stand it! So needless to say I was dry heaving and throwing up in my mouth, I had tears coming down my face cause I was trying not to throw up on my child! I felt so bad, this little angel is sitting on my bed, with an arm FULL of puke trying his hardest to not get it on my bed, while his dumb shit mom is gagging and trying to turn the fan on, which I then blow straight on him cause I HAD to get the smell moving on out or Lucas was going to get more throw up on him and not his own!
I felt so bad: fan blowing on him, covered in throw up and his neurotic mom apologizing over and over trying to convince him that everything is OK "mommy needs to catch my breath wait here a sec, I will be right back, don't move".
Needless to say I get his clothes off of him, not a spot on my bed!!! Woohooo UNTIL I say OK Lucas move up there some on the bed. As he starts to, I see he has some vomit on his hands that he proceeds to put right down on my sheets. Guess I couldn't salvage my bedding after all.
Poor guy, that added a couple more years of counseling to his already piling up list of things he is going to need counseling for!
WOW I should look in the mirror before leaving the house!
If you are like me, a mom, I am sure you have looked in the mirror at the end of the day only to notice that mysterious something in your hair, on your shirt (thinking gosh everyone has been staring at my boob all day, cause I have something on it.....nice!!), in your teeth, on the side of your nose, or on your butt. Because you were to busy this morning making lunches, warming the kids clothes in the dryer, because it is cold and the kids get the snuggly warm feeling when there clothes have been warmed in the dryer (yes I do do that!), cleaned up the spilt Orange Juice on the carpet, started the car so it is warm, made your husband his to-go cup of coffee, reminded the kids for the ump-tenth time to put there lunches in their back-packs, warmed up a to go breakfast because of course no one wanted to get up in time to eat breakfast, remembered "oh crap what I am going to throw on, will anyone notice I haven't showered?", stepped on a race car, cried a little, gave the kids there vitamins, took a look around.....but forgot to look in the mirror. Well I have, more than I would like to admit. I think I am starting to develop an underlying self esteem problem now! I am terrified to get out of my car, knowing I am sure I have something stuck somewhere and everyone is going to laugh at me!Yeah, that's me.....Traci mom to 2......well 3 if you count my husband! I love to write, and why not do it about my everyday life of being a mom, it is funny, a little inspirational, and most of you can relate or not, who cares. I am sure there is a million of these sites out there, but hey I have to try to get a hold of this self esteem issue, so I am going to say "well there is no one like me!". WOW I feel better......a little. So I am doing this site, or whatever it is called, for me to write, you to write and comment, and for all of us to have fine and dandy time. Let me just clarify a few things: I am a terrible speller! I know there is spell check and it is my best friend, but spelling and grammar are not my forte.....changing diapers, making beds, making lunches, holding throw-up buckets, wiping butts, noses, mouths and hands.....now that's my forte. If you feel the need to correct me that's fine, but you are doing it for yourself because I am not going to listen, nor do I have the time to go and fix it. :)

The Talk... great new show
I love this new show!!! And will be blogging about some of the topics..... here are a couple if anyone wants to comment....
Bullying.......
Just got done watching The Talk & todays show was on Bullying. I know that when I am at the school on recess duty I make sure to pay attention to what is going on & when I saw bullying 1 time I confronted the kid & as I was talking to the child saw right through his tough guy image. I literally saw his face change fro...m hard to soft. He understood when I was talking to him that maybe some other kids arent having such a good day or time in there life and we can help them by talking to them instead of picking on them. And he got it. He is one of my favorite (besides my kiddos) kid on the play ground. Along with the proper punishment, we need to talk to our kids, explain to them WHY it is wrong, not just that it is wrong dont do it. Here is a book they suggested on the show today... "Queen Bees and Wanna Bees"
Tweens taking Pole Dancing Classes......
Cant believe they're are moms out there like this! Amazing! Watch the video and listen to the moms ridiculous defense! Check it out and let me know your opinion :) Here is the Video

My poor kids, therapy here they come..............
Ok I havent been on in a while and I was reading my posts and I noticed that my last 2 posts.... wine was involoved....hmmmmmm...I swear I dont have a problem!!!!! LOL ok on to the real post......
So St Patricks day......
My oldest son wanted to dress up. He picked out his outfit for the day: green shorts, green shirt, green sweat shirt, green socks, green headband with clovers that stand up real tall on his head, and a green bow tie.....he was decked out. I was sooooooooooo afraid that he was going to be made fun of! I know! I know! it was my past coming through. But I couldnt get over it. I was a wreck and I had to keep it to myself because I wanted him to be free of self critisism. I want him to be able to wear what he wants with out that fear of being judged. And so we went to school.....all decked out and imagine that everything was fine! Everyone was dressed up in fun green clothes. I was a wreck for nothing! I will step back next time (hopefully!!). Here is my big green man.......
So we have the 1st wrestling match of the season coming up this weekend. It will be my youngest 1st match. He is soooo sporty. Everything Sporty he is just so darn natural at! I know he will be great at everything he does. The thing is, is that my oldest isn't like that. He has to try really hard at sports. Dont get me wrong he is fantastic at sports, it just doesnt come as easily to him as it does my youngest. He is just kind of akward, he is long and skinny. I am hoping and praying and trying to plan my "plan of action" for when the time comes that maybe some resentment may be there between the 2 of them because sports come so naturally to my youngest. I am hoping that I can instill the "good sportsman" into them so that they support eachother vs. holding resentment towards eachother. I tell them all the time that "your brother is the one person in this world that will be there, they are your friend for life, be there for eachother always" and some other stuff to help them realize that they are forever going to be brothers that that bond is soooooo important to maintain. Lets hope that works!!
I never thought when I was having kids, about how different my kids would be. They are the polar opposites of eachother! My oldest needs lots of attention and constant praise and affection, where as my youngest really can be Ok without it. Damon is hyper and friendly, were my youngest is quite and reserved, and sometimes not so friendly. (something we are working on!!!)
BOOKS I HAVE RECENTLY READ AND RECOMMEND:
I just read "the 5 love Languages" and even though it is written for marriage you can see where it can be affective in your everyday life. If you havent read that, you should. it is definalty NOT my favorite book (im a total vampire whore right now) but it is something that is nice to add to your library, makes you think, and helps with how you interact with people. There is also a book by the same author about kids. You can read that one too, if you want to know about how to relate it to kids. But I understood it with just reading that one book.
Sookie Stackhouse series:
LOVE LOVE LOVE
of course about Vampires, but there are tons of other superantural creatures in this series. They are quick reads and there are right now like 9 books out there in this series.
A Thousand Splendid Suns:
GREAT book. The Author wrote "The Kite Runner" another great book. Similar to the Kite Runner, but about a women and her journey though life in the middle east. It is sad, it is inspiring, makes you yell "are you kidding me" makes you want to be there to help the women. This book reall draws you in. It was fantastic.
ONE OF MY ALLLLL TIME FAVS:
THE RED TENT
OMGoodness this book was fantastic!!!!! It starts from before birth and goes till the very end for the main character! It doesnt leave you hanging at the end, wondering "jee I would really like to know what happens next" it goes all through the main characters life. It was fantastic....A MUST MUST read!!!!
Hope all is well, I am ending here, I have got to go go go....lots to do, it is never ending!!!!
